Just the two of you (for now)
As exciting as the arrival of your offspring is going to be, it will mean some massive changes in your life. So, make the most of the 9 months you have to really indulge yourselves and spend some time together doing nice things, going great places and generally spoiling yourselves. In fact, the babymoon is becoming the latest thing, so don't feel bad about it, just get on and join in.

Fancy some sun, some exotic scenery, but not massive amounts of jet lag? Well, we think Dubai ticks all the right boxes. Fly with Emirates from a number of local airports including Birmingham and Manchester, and we'd check in to the Dusit Dubai for at least a long weekend, if not a thousand and one nights. And prepare for some serious pampering and indulgence, even if you never leave the hotel!

If your beloved doesn't fancy flying, or the heat, then how about doing London in style? We could quite happily never leave our room at The Soho Hotel, unless it was to stagger down for one of their amazing breakfasts. For our money, we'd choose a deluxe room on the 5th floor, and room service.

Want no flying but still getting the feel of abroad? Go for the Eurostar, and we'd opt for Bruges. Ignoring the lace, its got everything you need: chips, beer and chocolate. Rest your weary heads, and tums, at Martin's Hotel. Very modern, very comfy and a great location.

One last blast in style? Fly to New York for and book yourself into any of the W Hotels and their amazing Baby Me package. More gorgeous gifts than you'll know what to do with, and some amazing hotel locations throughout the city. We'd go with the original, on Lexington Avenue. It's the closest to shopping on 5th Avenue, even if its only for toys at FAO Schwarz.
